About Me

Welcome to Calm In The Chaos
I'm Katie, a fully qualified integrative therapist offering counselling and psychotherapy for a range of emotional and mental health difficulties.
Whether you’re navigating mental health issues, living with the impact of trauma, dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions or a general sense of overwhelm, you don't have to face it alone.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a trauma informed counsellor for a specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual assault and abuse, understanding the impact that traumatic experiences can have on a person's thoughts, emotions and body. I also have experience of working as a school counsellor supporting clients through the challenges of adolescence, family issues and the demands of school life.
I am a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), ensuring a commitment to ethical and professional practice.
Being an integrative therapist means I draw upon a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to you and what feels most helpful. This personalised approach allows me to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of my clients, ensuring the therapeutic process is both effective and centred around you rather than my practice.
In Person or Online?

I offer both online and in person therapy sessions.
In person therapy sessions take place in the beautiful setting of Halton Tennis Centre, Buckinghamshire, in a private, separate building.
There is free parking, toilet facilities and a warm and welcoming clubhouse cafe.
